Bank of America Card Group Sales Officer in Wilmington, Delaware

Job Description:

Works under the direction of a sales manager or senior staff to assist in identifying and calling on potential clients, preparing presentations, following up on client contacts and closing the sale of credit card programs or partnerships to smaller less complex accounts.


  • Assist a team of 2 other associates to deliver cobrand card solutions for Virgin Atlantic, Air France+KLM, and Asiana Airlines

  • Co-ordinate with marketing, governance and compliance, legal, finance, credit operations, and customer service to sell and fulfill cobranded card products to the benefit of the bank, the consumer and our cobranded airline partners

  • Manage and communicate with the airlines and business partners within BAC to enable growth of the program and help set program strategy

  • Day to day responsibility for marketing campaign execution

  • Reporting and resolution of consumer complaints

  • Travel as needed, no less than quarterly. Some travel will be international.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Financial acumen – ability to read and understand a P&L statement

  • Presentation skills and demonstrated ability to present and defend ideas

  • Understanding of consumer marketing execution and fundamentals of campaign execution

  • 2+ years’ experience and familiarity with legal and regulatory frame work for consumer card products

  • Ability to work as part of a team, marketing campaign and or project management skills

  • Attention to detail

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Previous experience with card products or affinity management

  • Knowledge of the compliance and marketing approval rigor within CSBB

  • Previous relationship management or B to B sales experience

  • Previous P and L responsibility
