Business Overview

Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for ultra-high net worth families.

The Client Associate (CA) role is a support position to a team of private wealth advisors. CAs typically provide personal operational, administrative and sales support to private wealth advisors.

For established clients, the CA will often serve as the most frequent point of contact.

If the CA is not already fully registered (Series 7 & 63/65 or 66), the aim is to become fully registered as soon as possible.


Undergraduate degree preferred.

Series 7 & 63/65 or 66 registration preferred; if hired without, one will be required to obtain registrations.

Strong communication, time management and organizational skills are required.

Strong technical skills (MS Word, Excel) and comfort working with online banking and investments tools.

Knowledge of investment and banking products, policies & procedures is required.

Familiarity with Bank of America products, policies & procedures is a plus.

Positive outlook, team orientation and focus on high quality work product is a plus.
