  • Bank of America are seeking a Technical Marketing Delivery Lead to drive execution of a portion of our marketing portfolio. Experience in executing on the technology capabilities to meet new marketing strategies. Ability leverage 3rd Party data to evolve the marketing and sales strategy, with experience using, tools and analytics methods (predictive analytics) within “big data” environments to help us deliver strategic advantage and growth to our business partners.

  • This is a unique opportunity to drive both the strategy and tactical execution around the way in which we leverage marketing data to enhance the customer experience, expand self-service capabilities and inform and drive our marketing and sales strategies. This work is in lock step with Bank of America’s customer focused mandate to “help make our customers financial lives better” and has support of the senior leadership.

Position Summary:

  • Lead team that is responsible for application ownership of set of marketing related applications both internally owned and managed and working with vendor partners for integration of business capabilities.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing executives to help align business and technology strategy

  • Drive definition and execution on how the bank leverages 3rd party data providers

  • Drive definition and execution of how we leverage 3rd party tools such as Adobe and how those integrates into our target state insights strategies

  • Collaborate with and leverage existing data teams to help execute marketing strategy

  • Manage risk, compliance for current set of marketing applications

  • Execute on strategies for consolidation of 3rd party vendors

  • Execution in scaled agile methodology

  • The current data tools in use are: Cassandra, Hadoop/Cloudera, Java, .net, Teradata, Cloud deployment, Oracle, etc.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years working within the marketing landscape to define and implement transformational solutions

  • Familiarity with vendor market place for new technologies in 3rd party data capture and aggregation

  • Understanding and experience in business marketing strategies around personalization of customer experience

  • Familiarity with vendors such as Experian, adobe, live ramp, Acxiom, epsilon, etc

  • Proven leadership in navigating multi-business stakeholders

  • Expert communicator at executive level with senior leadership credibility

  • Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions

  • Ability to manage resources, financial planning, and team organization

  • Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of gaining buy-in, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization

  • Strong enterprise and business driven mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal outcomes

  • Commercial mindset, proven ability in helping to increase revenues by using 3rd party data tools

*Open to Plano, TX but would prefer the candidate to relocate to Charlotte within 12 months for career advancement.

Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of multiple systems or applications including their ongoing service delivery and/or operation Responsible for multiple technology projects across multiple teams or a smaller number of major complex projects if a smaller area of the technology development function. Manages budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Responsible for staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making. Provides input into policy issues. IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 7-10 years of applicable experience.
