Bank of America Senior Financial Analyst- Bus. Support in Pennington, New Jersey

Job Description:

Responsible for more complex finance activities involving implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a business unit or associate area. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. Leads projects and coordinates resources. May provide supervision to a small staff. Can manage partner relationships.

The primary focus of the position are to develop, implement processes and procedures and consolidation of Stress results for the Consumer & GWIM businesses; ensuring adherence to the Enterprise Capital Scenario Management Policy; liaise with LOBs on model development and model drivers/results; and work closely with BFOs in order to document procedures and processes, validate forecast and stress results and submit results to Enterprise Stress Testing team .

Our business partners include Consumer & GWIM Business leadership team, Consumer & GWIM Finance leadership team, GWIM Marketing and Analytics team, LOB Finance, LOB Executives, Enterprise Stress Test team and various support teams.

Key priorities for our team:

  • aggregate stress testing results, including results related to the Banking business

  • disseminate model results with analysis of drivers,

  • work with team on the supporting documentation and other reporting requirements provided to the regulators on our stress test results,

  • adherence to Enterprise Capital Scenario Management Policy,

  • presentation preparation for Consumer & GWIM and Finance executive reviews,

  • coordinate with BFO and LOB for Resolution/Recovery planning documentation

The team is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable candidate with management consulting/business strategy/finance experience. The successful candidate will have significant exposure to executive management in Finance and GWIM LOB, and must have the proven ability to lead a project and take the initiative to own a process from beginning to end.

Required Skills:

  • 2-5 years financial analysis work experience

  • Management Consulting / Business Strategy / Finance Experience

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skill;

  • Advanced Excel / VBA - data manipulation / Power Query / PowerPivot

  • Analytical Abilities / Financial Acumen - Systematic application of a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning to examine information, interpret results and arrive at well-founded logical conclusions.

  • Strong communication, organization, presentation, analytical and leadership skills

  • Bachelor's degree - accounting or finance preferred Desired Skills:

  • CFA / MBA

  • eLedger, EPM /Essbase reporting experience

  • CPA

  • Project Management Experience

  • FASB/SEC Exposure

  • Financial Statement Analysis Experience

  • Knowledge with Stress Testing and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR)

  • Strong business acumen including product knowledge
