Organizational Overview :

As part of GT&O Chief Technology Office, the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO) team directly impacts the firm’s ability to achieve and sustain operating and regulatory excellence. The goal of the IAM EPO is to ensure that the right people have the right access to the right applications at the right time- for the right reasons. They are part of the first line of defense and oversee the execution of significant processes across the enterprise by partnering with Legal, Compliance and the Front Line Units (FLUs)/Operations. EPOs perform standard functions to identify and mitigate risks, achieve operating targets and consistently comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Role Overview :

The desired candidate brings the full set of EPO capabilities to the business by engaging and influencing applicable FLUs and Operations and overseeing performance against standards and procedures. This person will work with all functions within the EPO, and directly supports the Engagement team for GT&O, Control Function, and Administration FLUs to understand end-to-end processes and hold process owners accountable for risk identification, control environment and ongoing quality assurance and monitoring to ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process: Supports Engagement Leads to maintain strong relationships with process owners to understand and oversee end-to-end processes; Assists in holding process owners accountable for risk identification, control environment, QA, etc.

  • Business controls and process compliance: Reviews control monitoring and independent testing results with FLU to identify potential gaps or trends

  • Regulatory change: Partners with EPO members and prepares communications/materials for Front Line Unit (FLU) leaders to determine and assess process, controls, operating and technology impacts of changing regulations, policy and standards; Partners with Compliance, Risk, Audit and Business partners to close gaps in compliance with emerging requirements

  • Governance: Coordinates and prepares presentations for Engagement Leads to ensure ongoing execution of appropriate governance and management structures within FLUs

  • Transformation: When FLU is introducing new products and services, assists with oversight to set up, onboard and refresh process to achieve sustainable compliance

  • Issues management oversight: Works with EPO members, FLUs and control partners to identify and raise potential issues; Assists with oversight of issue remediation efforts, and provide active guidance on process

  • Overall Support: partners with multiple Engagement Leads to drive key initiatives, issue remediation, and exam oversight

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years support experience in Process Design, Governance, EPO, Technology or similar environment

  • Ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, draw conclusions and prepare/present executive-level material

  • Ability to balance intersecting priorities

  • Identify and move quickly to address business risks and challenges

  • Experience working in high visibility, high pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relationship management experience

  • Experience and knowledge in Identity and Access Management and/or Application Management

  • Familiarity with GIS policies and enterprise standards (navigation and adherence)
