Digital Product Manager Responsibilities:
The Digital Product Manager will be responsible enhancing the Financial Advisor’s Digital presence through multiple strategic social media and website initiatives designed around improving Financial Advisor efficiency, increasing client acquisition and digitizing workflow processes. The work has a heavy lens toward improving overall User Experience for both advisors and end clients/prospects.
Core focus area will include documenting Requirements including defining Features and User Stories within an Agile Framework. Experience with Rally is preferred.
Partnering with vendors and technology teams to define and execute parallel workstreams
The role will require heavy interaction with technology to insure an optimized User Experience
The role will closely partner with other lines of business, control partners and product personnel
One particular major initiative—Advisor Digital/Social Media Expansion—will be a multi-year, integrated effort on one of the firms most strategically important project initiatives
Ideal candidate would have deep knowledge of requirement documentation coupled with an understanding of the Financial Services Industry Key Qualifications for the Role:
5+ years of experience in financial services with expertise in developing digital capabilities and requirement documentation
A background in Financial Services is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record required
Ability to juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment required
Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills required
Must be able to effectively communicate in both business and technical contexts
Must have ability to build consensus across teams
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills required
Independently initiates and/ or leads eCommerce/ ATM marketing programs, initiatives, channel strategies and research projects. Works closely with business partners in creating new eCommerce/ ATM products and implementing new marketing approaches. May provide guidance to junior staff but has no formal supervisory responsibility
