Line of Business Description:
The Consumer, Small Business & Wealth Management Technology organization provides technology support and solutions to our clients across the Consumer, Small Business, Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust business segments. The team supports our digital banking, deposit, card and mortgage products as well as our brokerage, private wealth management and trust accounts globally.
The Risk Lead/Domain Expertise position will be aligned to the Risk team that is part of the COO organization within Consumer, Small Business & Wealth Management Technology. The primary focus of the team is to drive Risk management strategies including awareness, education, and quality assurance activities. The role will require the candidate to possess a deep understanding of the technologies within the organization, identifying gaps or industry trends relevant, perform assessments of Law, Rule or Regulatory impacts and be positioned to recommend strategies to continue to drive risk reduction across the portfolio.
•5+ years in Risk management, business control functions.•Seeking domain experience in one of the following areas:
Information security(inclusive of card holder data protection)
Digital / mobile / online banking (inclusiveof ADA compliance)
Robotics / machine learning
•Excellent communication skills (presentation and influencer) and ability to synthesize information in order to drive team to results
•Strong collaboration and partnering skills
•Capable of analyzing, simplifying and expressing complex problems quickly•Ability to positively influence and motivate teams
•Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment, where business needs/priorities may change and path forward is not always black/white
•Self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
•Proven ability to be intellectually curious by proactively assess processes/procedures and simplifying
•Knowledge of Laws, Rules and Regulations. Demonstrated ability to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards.

•Ability to work through controversial situations
•Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree
•Cyber security or information security domain knowledge
•Wide knowledge of computing platforms and solution
•Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
Enterprise Role Overview:
Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience. May manage staff.
