Bank of America Consumer Product Strategy Analyst IV - Fraud Strategies in Jacksonville, Florida

Job Description:

This position is responsible for performing complex analysis and modeling to develop and deploy fraud strategies to mitigate losses. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, SAS, and SQL at an advanced level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of performance reports and updates for senior management. May utilize established databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Analyzes portfolio trends, concerning risk, loss trends, marketing performance, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Will participate in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models.

Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. 5-10 years experience preferred.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years analytics experience demonstrating advanced proficiency in utilizing SAS

5+ years experience displaying solid working knowledge of SQL

Working knowledge of advanced analytic techniques including propensity models, segmentation, and decision trees

Comfortable and effective in tackling unstructured analytical challenges; ability to translate data into meaningful insight

Demonstrated data skills with large data stores, comfortable navigating and connecting disparate data sources

Strong demonstrated ability to summarize and interpret large amounts of data

Ability to organize and prioritize own work to meet deadlines and milestones with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience in developing and facilitating presentations utilizing MS Excel and Power Point.

Strong attention to detail

Solid packaging and presentation skills

Ability to build key relationships and influence thinking of internal stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

SAS Certification

Previous Risk Management background

Previous Strategy Analyst background

Previous Credit Card and/or ATM Debit background

2 years + Fraud Strategies experience

Minimum of Bachelor's degree with strong quantitative background in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics

Fraud experience

Working knowledge of data sources available to Fraud
