Job Description:

Responsible for managing a team of Estate Settlement Officers and Associates who handle probate estates and deceased grantor trusts. Ensure the delivery of a high level of administrative service while managing risks and adhering to established policies and procedures. Responsible for revenue and expense management Provide technical expertise and guidance, accountable for coaching and development of team members. Responsible for leading the effort to build relationships with key internal business partners and external COIs (Attorneys and CPAs). Participate in community and professional activities to increase awareness of Estate Settlement Services and BAC. Responsible for new account acceptance for BAC and MLTC. BS/BA or equivalent experience required. Law degree (JD) or CPA preferred. Non-Licensed Associate.


  • 5+ years estate administration experience with a law firm or corporate fiduciary

  • 5+ years as a team or group leader, or with some direct reports, management experience with people/workflow

  • Position involves 5% travel, usually not overnight, to decedent’s residences for appraisals and to manage distribution/sale of tangible personal property or to meet clients or prospective clients

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Desired: JD, CPA, MBA
