Bank of America Front Line Unit Flood Portfolio Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job Description:

Provide support to Wholesale Credit Officers for Flood Due Diligence work.

Provide guidance on required data for inputs in Credit Center; required supporting documents; steps to get thru the process; assistance with entering data in tool kit.

Assist with structures when SFHA properties are involved to include requirements for inclusion of contents (implications and borrower requirements); impact of cross collateralization; alternate credit structures. Discuss difference between NFPA insurance policy and Private Policy. Assist with sourcing for data points to order Marshall & Swifts and Real Estate Appraisals.

Support the development of ongoing Flood Awareness Training and FAQ’s.

-General knowledge of industry practices related to flood

-Knowledge of flood across corporate functions and front office business lines

  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Flood Policy, Standard and 802 A Flood Procedure

-In depth knowledge of underwriting systems (e.g. Workplace, GUS) and key Source Systems of Record (e.g. LoanIQ)

-Strong credit underwriting experience needed

-Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, Audit and Credit Review on a regular basis

-Strong organizational skills

-Ability to coordinate efforts across business lines

-Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
