Job Description:

This position will focus mostly on the QA functions described below:

Performance Engineering

Ensure that non-functional requirements established during the course of performance testing (such as throughput, latency, or memory usage) will be met. For this position, the successful candidate will contribute to the team’s performance testing efforts, will then help analyze those results and work with Developers and DBA's to identify code/infrastructure optimization opportunities. Working jointly those stakeholders, it will be on point for providing technical guidance in order to improve system performance, reduce critical transaction response times and address capacity, reliability & scalability issues. Additional tasks include: Performing root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions. Overseeing system performance lifecycle & identify key metrics targeted for performance improvements. Generate periodic performance reports for management review.

Security Testing

Security testing experience will be preferred. The candidate’s experience in determining whether an information system properly protects its data and is able to maintain its functionality as intended will be highly valuable. Security testing of any system is generally centered around finding any possible loopholes and weaknesses of the system which might result in a loss of information at the hands of either employees of an organization or outside threats to it.

Required Skills

  • Detection of intrusions such as denial of service attacks

  • Simulate various types of external attacks

  • Probe for open ports or other externally visible points of attack

  • Identify weaknesses in password files and passwords
