Job Description:

‚ÄčThe Bank of America Architecture & Engineering Core Networking team is responsible for the development of complex, automated networking solutions deployable into the banks regional, international and metropolitan backbone packet and metropolitan optical transport networks. This team consists of highly motivated self-directed individuals who exceed performance expectations in a large and challenging workplace. The Bank of America core networks are carrier class infrastructures built on industry best practices and utilize carrier grade routing and optical transport platforms. Operating as a Core Network Engineer candidates will drive the creation and automation of new WAN/MAN technology solutions, supporting the operational and business technology teams in a consulting capacity and maintain all architectural level standards.

Required Skills:

  • Basic networking Command Line Interface (Cisco)

  • Advanced UNIX/LINUX knowledge

  • Basic working knowledge of Cisco NSO

  • Advanced knowledge of YANG modeling

  • Advanced knowledge of Python

Desired Skills:

  • Arista, Juniper CLI knowledge

  • Familiarity with workflow automation

  • Java

  • Workflow automation experience
