Bank of America SFA - Finance Business Support in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

This is a Business Finance Officer (BFO) / Business Support role that works with the Consumer Client Services Team.

The Consumer Client Services (“CCS”) team is part of the overall Consumer / GWIM CFO organization. The primary focus of this team is to provide financial and strategic support to the Consumer Client Service business partners that lead the consumer call centers including nearly 12,000 agents and 35 locations.

Primary Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Planning and forecasting, partnering with line of business leaders, capacity planning, and finance partners across consumer finance organization

  • Routine reporting responsibilities including Month-End reporting, Business Review Financials, and Monthly accrual accounting

  • Cost studies in support of enterprise initiatives and LOB metrics

  • Support routine and ad-hoc negotiations with vendors which represents 30% of CCS budget and 40% of CCS resources

  • Work closely with LOB partners to develop and communicate the “story” around changes to vendors which will drive lower costs and/or higher quality

  • Ad hoc projects

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (accounting or finance strongly preferred)

  • 2-5 years accounting / finance experience

  • Strong communication, organization, presentation, analytical, and business partnering skills

  • Advanced Excel, modeling, and data manipulation

  • Strong Business Acumen

  • Attention to detail

  • Comfortable functioning in a highly dynamic, ever changing environment, manages multiple responsibilities simultaneously, easily adaptable to changing priorities, and has the ability to work independently or in teams

  • Seeks to understand end to end processes and develop simplified, repeatable processes to streamline existing work

  • Comfortable taking ownership of highly impactful processes and business partner relationships
