Bank of America Senior Financial Analyst- in Charlotte, North Carolina
This position will reside in the Global Infrastructure Finance's (GIF) Central Reporting & Finance Operations team and will support Consumer Small Business and Wealth Management Technology (CSWT). This group has over $2.0 billion of Base and Initiative expenses. The primary focus of this team is to provide solid financial reporting for our BFO's to enable informed decisions by their Business Executives. The function includes responsibilities for the day-to-day finance activities for standard reporting and all other reporting activities required to support the CSWT Forecasting and BFO teams. Throughout the tenure of the role this teammate will gain exposure and business acumen around this group, will develop business partner relationships with the Technology Forecasting Teams and BFO's, as well as gain efficiencies and proficiencies through process improvements.
Key responsibilities and competencies
Partnership with Technology Finance Forecasting teams and / or other Staff Support teams along with their Technology partners to provide accurate and timely monthly expense estimates
Accurate and timely month end reporting including robust financial commentary to enable informed decisions by Business Executives
Partner with peers and management to implement process & reporting improvements
Strong analytical skills required to understand business drivers
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables, as well as strong written and oral communications skills
Any other ad hoc duties in support of standard reporting, hierarchy maintenance, and/or in support of our partners
Advanced Excel proficiency
BS/BA (Finance / Accounting Preferred)
Strong communication, organization, presentation and analytical skills
5+ years of accounting or financial analysis work experience
Ability to problem solve and take ownership of process improvements
Strong communication skills
