Bank of America Senior Finance Analyst - Fin Bus Supp in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Key responsibilities include leading the following:

  • Consolidation point and lead for month/quarter-end, forecast and holistic Merrill Edge financial reporting and performance tracking

  • Key FP&A partner to Edge BFO team, including monthly/quarterly presentations on performance results

  • Lead for Edge regulatory reporting elements and socialization

  • Various ad hoc analysis and reporting (Deposits and Edge), key liaison between legal entity controllers and product teams

Throughout the tenure of this role the analyst will gain exposure to Merrill Edge and the Deposits and Payments Finance organization while improving/developing the following skills: financial/business acumen, attention to detail, analytical and strategic thinking, planning and forecasting, leadership, communication, and relationship management.

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree (accounting or finance strongly preferred)

  • 2+ years of accounting or financial analysis work experience

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive

  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, presentation, analytical and business partnering skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Adaptable, ability to work independently in a fast paced, result driven environment with changing priorities

  • Manages operational risk by building strong processes and quality control routines

  • Eager to learn and grow, receptive to constructive feedback
