Job Description:

This position is for a Project Manager on the Upstream and Downstream Oracle Cloud team within the Global Finance Projects organization within the CAO, and Global Financial Control (GFC)-Finance Systems. The USDS team drives and manages the remediation of impacted applications due to migrating to Oracle Cloud. This role will be responsible for providing application support between the business operations area and the FSR program for applications dependent on Finance Data Warehouse and Oracle. The Project Manager will be responsible for identification, documentation, test execution and implementation of requirements related to the provisioning of master data and financial data. The provisioning capabilities for master data are known as RDR (Reference Data Repository) services and for GL/Financial data, it is FPP (Finance Provisioning

Enterprise Role Overview:

Manages medium-large Financial Solutions projects and/ or leads a segment of large, complex projects. Manages the research of existing operations, procedures, accounting transactions, workflow, product and service requirements. Directs the analysis of assembled data to define problems associated with project scope and help determine the appropriate financial system solution. Requires an in-depth knowledge of the bank's financial solutions and associated operations.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Strong understanding of eLedger & Oracle integrated system general ledger platform, financial statement, reporting & accounting concepts

  • Understanding of general ledger test environment, system processes, accounting transaction flows and financial data flows

  • Project management skill set and Data Provisioning subject matter expertise for multiple mid to large Finance and LOB projects across several business units, product lines or business processes

  • Apply Banks project management tools and processes; contributing expertise to business requirements, design, testing and implementation representing general ledger/finance in support of the overall LOB project team

  • Project execution this is focused on ensuring complete, accurate and consistent delivery of data to our downstream partners.

  • Partner with Downstreams applications to test, troubleshoot and resolve issues as well as answer questions regarding their data deliveries.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Management & Technology, Computer Science etc.)

  • 5+ years of related work experience in Financial Services Industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software skills (Excel, Access, Word, SharePoint, One Note, Project)

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels (i.e. colleagues to senior management) and situations (i.e. one-on-one to presentations).

  • Builds Partnerships - broad-based business relationships across the enterprise. Positively and skillfully influences peers, colleagues, leaders and business partners to collaborate and deliver consistent quality results.

  • Experience creating project documentation such as BRDs (business requirement documents) and functional specifications

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with BAC Change and Project Management tools and processes

  • Experience with SQL, SharePoint, Discovery, SolMan, and Quality Center

  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall change management methodology

  • Experience working on or managing projects

  • Independent and self-motivated

  • SAP/eLedger, Oracle, or similar financial reporting system
