Bank of America Mgr - Fin Bus Support - Tech Forecasting Mgr in Charlotte, North Carolina
Responsibility for managing the team that forecasts Consumer, Small Business, and Wealth Management Technologyexpenses. This role will partner with the Business Finance Office (BFO) organization in order to forecast, analyze, and manage technology expenses, while also providing the opportunity to gain exposure into the company’s technology investment process and the related management of both ongoing support (base) and new development (initiative) expenses.
Key responsibilities and competencies:
Manage a team of thirteen analysts and all day-to-day activities.
Partner with the BFO organization to support the management of annual technology expenses. Includes constituents in the month-end reporting, accrual, and technology initiative finance teams.
Act as a key control partner – challenging and providing counsel to the BFO organization.
Manage the forecast process including key assumptions, deadlines and consolidation.
Assist BFO with preparation of month-end, deep-dive, and forecast meetings
Identification, reporting and forecasting of Risks and Opportunities relating to technology funding
Drive process improvements

Responsible for directing the day-to-day finance activities for a business unit or associate area. Activities include strategic and annual planning and implementation, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting. Manages partner relationships and associates. Considered a working manager. In addition to supervisory / administrative duties, individuals are actively involved in the execution of processes. Assists management in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must have a BS/BA Degree (Finance / Accounting Preferred)
8+ years of finance or accounting experience (combination of FP&A/Accounting experiences)
Experience effectively managing a team
Strong oral and written communication skills
Comfortable presenting information to executives
Proven ability to manage relationships and influence key stakeholders
Strongtime management skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
Advanced degree (MBA, CPA)
Prior management experiences or have lead large project/initiatives
