Department Overview:

Enterprise Liquidity Risk Management is a department within Treasury & Control Function Risk (TCF Risk). It is responsible for providing an independent assessment of Bank of America’s Liquidity risk. The department’s aim is to support Bank of America’s purpose in making financial lives better through responsible growth. This is accomplished by providing an independent perspective on the effective utilization of Bank of America’s Liquidity resources. The goal of the department is that a healthy and sustainable Liquidity profile is maintained through a business as usual environment and also during times of stress to support the Businesses Earnings Plans.

Role Summary:

Provideenterprise liquidity risk management through risk identification, metrics development and analysis, reporting, and escalation.As an enterprise Risk horizontal team, it is our role to ensure that allelements of the Liquidity Risk Framework, Policy, and coverage model are implemented and operating effectively across horizontal and vertical coverage team, as well as Lines of Business and Front Line Units.

Key Responsibilities:

Theselected candidate will be responsible for LiquidityRisk Analysis and Insights for the Enterprise Liquidity Risk Management team withinTCFRisk team:

  • Ensure adherence to requirements of the Enterprise Liquidity Risk Framework

  • Understands liquidity risk associated with Subsidiary Governance and Recovery and Resolution Planning requirements and manages accordingly

  • Demonstrate and develop acumen for the identification of liquidity risks and mitigants

  • Partner with liquidity risk vertical teams to develop,align, and calibrate metrics to ensure that identified risks are appropriately measured

  • Provide insights and analysis of monitored metrics to manage liquidity risk

  • Keep abreast of emerging regulatory requirements for liquidity risk and provide guidance on the impact of these regulations to the 2ndLine of Defense

  • Deliver effective review and challenge of front line challenge processes intended to mitigate liquidity risk

  • Liaise with Audit, Compliance and other control functions

  • Prepare for, coordinate and conduct any regulatory reviews and responses of this function; ensure resolution of issues as identified

  • Support corporate-wide liquidity risk related initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2-5 years of Financial Risk Management experience working in an analytical role around finance within a large bank; NOTE:diverse backgrounds or experiences will be considered, incl. recent graduate

  • Excellent problem resolution skills

  • Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel (v lookups, pivot tables)

  • Strong analytical skills, including both analysis of financial data and written reports

  • Experience drafting reports and aggregating data with an ability to, "tell the story"

  • Proactive and inquisitive; willing to challenge the status quo and strive to improve processes

  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy; leverages initiative and sound judgment

  • Values talents and skills of others; leveragesthe power of the team

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills

  • LIBRA and SQLskills a strong plus

Enterprise role overview:

Assists in providing risk oversight and advice and counsel to the LOB. Establish risk management policies, limits, standards, controls, metrics and thresholds within the defined corporate standards. Demonstrates ability to recognize all risk categories including credit, market, operational and compliance and bringing appropriate risk expertise as needed. Assists in conducting execution of risk framework activities including, but not limited to, independent monitoring and testing of controls and risk management processes for the LOB. Assists in establishing and overseeing the risk management governance structure for the LOB.
