Job Description:

This role works in the Data & Analytics Team within Consumer and GWIM Finance organization. Responsibilities include identification and execution of operational excellence ideas including but not limited to process automation, design/build/automation of finance dashboards, technology tool evaluation and quick prototyping. Ability to work with clients to design reporting that delivers fresh and actionable data-based insights. Work in a fast paced matrixed organization in collaboration with SME's, technology partners and other client teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-7 years of application programming experience

  • 3-5 years writing complex queries against databases like Oracle, DB2, Teradata and SQL Server

  • Experience in report development preferably using tools like Tableau (highly desired), SSRS, SAS, Cognos BI tools, MicroStrategy

  • Should be comfortable in process automation using Excel & PowerPivot

  • Experience in Batch and ETL automation using AutoSys, SSIS

  • Must have excellent software design and documentation skills

  • Self starter - should be able to work directly with end users andcommunicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business units and senior leadership

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment

  • Must have excellent organization skills

  • Experience with the development models and software development lifecycle (SDLC) model

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Financial Services experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Essbase, General Ledger reporting, Management Accounting basics will be helpful.

  • Experience with Alteryx or Trifacta

  • Agile development experience
