Bank of America Corporate Treasury Trade Control Analyst: Charlotte, NC in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Corporate Treasury is responsible for providing world class management of the company's interest rate and liquidity risks using a state of the art framework for balancing the tradeoffs between risk and return. Treasury's primary responsibilities include funding the company's balance sheet, forecasting net interest income, managing relationships with rating agencies and fixed income investors, and analyzing interest rate and liquidity risks. The Chief Investment Officer team manages the activities of the Corporate Investments Group and is responsible for ensuring that its actions are consistent with the policy, guidelines and direction of the Finance Committee and Asset Liability Risk Management Committee. The CIO has discretion in implementing the portfolio strategy to optimize execution and returns as market conditions allow.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Investments and Corporate Treasury trading desks to ensure accurate trade capture and substantiation. This candidate must be able to drive trade capture projects and coordinate implementation across multiple platforms and groups. The specialist will also perform basic trade analytics to resolve trade queries. The candidate will be responsible for reconciliations and event monitoring for derivatives as well as supporting FX, interest rate derivatives, and fixed income. In addition to the Front Office, the candidate will work closely with Finance, Back Office, and other Middle Office support partners.


  • Ideal candidate will have a background in supporting a trading environment, and in depth knowledge of financial instruments, preferably FX, interest rate derivatives, or fixed income securities

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, a degree in economics, finance, or business, and 4-6 years of experience are necessary


  • Extensive work with data systems, databases and spreadsheets.

  • Ability to quickly learn new applications and trade capture platforms

  • Solid understanding of FX, fixed income, and derivative instruments

  • Displays a high level of attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised

  • Communicates and partners well with others to accomplish goals.
