The Technical Business Analyst role is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the group and various technologies used by GT&O Operations. This person will act as the Technical Lead on our Agile project assisting with the management of technical based solutions, backend capabilities and release management required to support target state as defined by the product owners. The tech lead is a critical role in story grooming sessions providing input on the decision of the best solution(s) for meeting requirements. This role will further oversee the tasks assigned to the team’s developers to ensure consistent coding methodologies and adherence to enterprise standards. The Tech Lead will further assist the developers in sizing user stories for development in each sprint. Developers are positioned globally and partnership with off-shore technical leads will be critical to success. Works under minimal supervision on enterprise wide projects requiring out of the box thinking and problem solving skills requiring creative solutions. Individual will apply technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors. Accountable for team-level contributions in technical systems and software support for modification and implementation of changes to assigned systems and drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs. •Performs specific application quality assurance including the tracking of bug reports and change requests and ensuring their timely resolution. •Ensures that all tests are conducted and documented according to the standards agreed upon by the department. •Ensures that all items follow the SDM and SDLC change management process and are entered and tracked appropriately. •Develops a variety of ad-hoc reports to aid in business analysis and system performance. •Provides the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects; and works with the developers, other analysts, and manager to ensure the software development process has an appropriate level of testing and documentation. •Analyzes discrepancies in service or performance and makes recommendations for updates. •Provides signoff feedback to the developer(s) to identify code as production ready.
IT degree or substantially equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in development leadership in a technical environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Domain knowledge of Bank of America SDLC Standards
Experience with Data Analytics Tools (Composite, Trifacta, Alteryx)
Experience with Data Visualization tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, Apose)
