Bank of America Marketing Technology Program Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs is investing in a multi-year effort to improve technology and operational capabilities to create more personalized interactions and experiences for our customers.This effort represents a key area of transformation for GM&CA in our ongoing journey toward customer-centric marketing.

We are seeking an experienced, senior leader to lead planning and execution for multiple workstreams within the Personalization Technology Enablement program. The resource will work across teams within the Marketing organization to collect and align business requirements, and work in conjunction with teammates in the Technology organization to deliver technology capabilities that will drive results for the business.

Job functions include:

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary work team to help define vision for target-state marketing technology and personalization platform.

  • Partner across teams to collect, document and prioritize requirements for assigned projects, including requirements to support operational processes.

  • Engage and communicate with stakeholders to drive awareness and alignment on strategy.

  • Help ensure quality delivery of capabilities, including end-user adoption.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years experience executing complex, enterprise-level technology development efforts, preferably with specialization in marketing technology

  • Experience in multi-channel marketing delivery; including digital and traditional marketing channels

  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies – including Agile software development

  • Strong management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

  • Ability to engage and influence teammates, up, down and across the organization

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – including proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools

  • Proven experience working across multiple teams to facilitate execution toward an enterprise objective

  • Strategic thinker with ability to deliver on day to day efforts

  • Ability to identify and escalate concerns/issues with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to manage and prioritize the work of others, directly and indirectly

  • Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • MBA / PMP preferred
