Bank of America GWIM Operations Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts
The Operations Analyst will be responsible for prompt and accurate clearing of exceptions on various DDA and PACE accounts. Engage LOB and Operations units to provide status and find resolutions within compliance/audit guidelines. Review reports to resolve exceptions before listed as exceptions on Accurate and work on large dollar exceptions as notified by the Cash Reconciliation Team. Provides quality, effective and efficient support for internal business partners.
•Completed 3-5hrs of Investing in You curriculum preferred
• Excellent communication skills in order to effectively interface with business partners
• Flexibility to work in an evolving environment as automation of processes and reorganization of process flows are implemented to achieve efficiencies
• Strong organization skills and proven ability/experience in multi-tasking in order to maintain performance during peak times. Ability to produce quality work within tight timeframes.
• Flexibility of schedule to accommodate for peak processing days and times each month
• Basic applied knowledge of Excel
• Basic knowledge of financial transaction processing
• Perform in a proactive and strategic manner
Enterprise Job Description:
Provides standard reporting and analytical support in a GWIM Operations for one or more product areas funds transfer, collateral mgt/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support,clearance/settlement,documentation/confirmations,customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. While incumbents in this position are responsible for traditional activities such as trade processing/clearance or funds transfer, their day-to-day actions are more focused on administering defined procedures, analysis and report preparation, and exception processing. Requires general understanding of operations and GWIM products. This associate's work may be subject to the review of a Supervisor or Operations Team Manager. Associates in this position will either typically possess a college degree, analytic and systems skills, basic knowledge of finance and have good communication skills; or will have worked within the Operations area for several years and have acquired an understanding of the process. Generally 2-4 years or more experience is preferred. Can also be designated as a Team Lead in this role..
