Job Description:

Serves as primary partner and analysis resource for Commercial Banking relationship managers in the management of client portfolios. Analyzes trends and identifies potential revenue opportunities to expand client relationships and makes appropriate recommendations. Identifies, researches and strategizes with respect to prospective new clients, focusing on business development activities.

Coordinates Client Management Process (CMP) including monthly team meetings, owns and executes on Client Action Plans, facilitates pre-call planning and client planning sessions. Produces effective industry, prospecting and client research for use in the sales process and assists with sales presentation content.

Maintains primary responsibility for timely and accurate Navigator data integrity as it relates to team coverage, client contact information, industry/legal codes and systems of record linkages. Has primary responsibility for Customer Due Diligence processes by ensuring timely completion and adherence to policy and regulatory requirements related to Anti-Money Laundering, Money Services Businesses, other high risk indicators or industries, and related Know-Your-Client activities. Executes national and regional initiatives (ex. Client Survey Contact, Pipeline exceptions), self-identified audit issues, AML/KYC refresh, remediation projects and supports annual client migration. Manages risk activities related to wires, fraud and overdrafts.

Required Skills:

  • An awareness and understanding of bank products and services used by commercial clients

  • Solid business acumen and sound analytical thinking in support of sales activities

  • Strong interpersonal and overall communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Self-starter who take charge in absence of detailed instruction; effectively initiates solutions

  • Ability to manage time and prioritize to meet deadlines

  • Collaboration and teaming skills

  • Strong client focus

  • Bachelors/Undergraduate degree

  • Knowledge of Global Commercial Banking businesses and CMP

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
