Job Description:

Entry level Operations Supervisory position. Directs a small unit or section of the company's internal operations activities. Responsibilities focus on the day to day resolution of problems and execution of transactions within specific operations units requiring immediate and frequent involvement with unit activities,. Provides guidance to Preferred Services Associate and may handle exception items or unusual situations, referring more complex problems to a senior level manager. Requires basic operations knowledge with work experience in a specific product line. Acts as a resource to associates and aides in the coaching, training and development of licensed associates. Plays an integral role in coaching associates to meet goals relating to client retention and deepening. Acts as a peer coach, sharing best practices to help improve customer satisfaction levels, productivity and asset growth. More than 50% of time is spent doing actual production work. May provide input into key people decisions (i.e. Salary Planning, Performance management, hiring/firing, etc.). Reports to a Team Manager or Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide subject matter expert knowledge of asset transition process

  • Quickly assess customer objectives and position solutions appropriately and effectively

  • Coach and develop Preferred Services Associates to meet metrics and client expectations

  • Grasp complex technical material quickly     

Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified

  • Series 7, 66 (or both the 63 & 65) and 9/10 is required; if 9/10 is not currently held, must be obtained within 120 days

  • Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 1-2 years relevant work experience

  • Capable of effectively operating in a team oriented and highly collaborative environment

  • Ability to effectively manage workload in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and oral/written communication skills

  • Capable of multi tasking and working efficiently under stress and high volume

  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills

  • Previous knowledge of client account services is helpful
