Job Description:

Collateral Technology is working towards a strategic master plan to transform our collateral platforms and processes so that we comply with regulatory mandates and also build a foundation for obtaining competitive advantage. Deliver a scalable, integrated, cross-product margin and collateral platform that enables funding optimization, facilitates high levels of automation, delivers quality information to our clients and enables compliance with regulatory mandates

The required skills of this Developer are to have practical experience in an object-oriented programming language (5+ years) and have comparable experience in a key application development role. He/she must demonstrate a track record of delivering mission-critical applications on-time. Previously working in the financial industry is a big plus. The candidate must be able to understand and clearly communicate (verbal and written) complex technical concepts.

Object Oriented Language (Python, JAVA, C#), UNIX, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Concurrent Programming, Object Oriented Design, Design Principles and Patterns, Agile Practices, Test Driven or Behavior Driven Development and Frameworks, Aspect Oriented Programming, Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control

•5+ years Object Oriented design and development

•2+ years in development of Financial applications

•5+ years as an application developer using OOD

•3+ years experience in Agile Software development methodologies

Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
