Job Description:

The Corporate Audit Targeted Review - Field Assessment & Site Testing (FAST) team is a dedicated team within the Bank of America Corporate Audit department focused on conducting reviews that proactively address risk and emerging industry trends. Additionally, this team includes a predictive analytics team that helps determine the areas of focus to get ahead of issues.

IT Auditor who independently executes assigned audit activities and supervises audit team. Responsible for multiple projects simultaneously. Utilizes sound, seasoned analytical skills and possesses product, business, and technical expertise to execute assigned responsibilities. Coordinates, schedules, scopes and leads team activities on audits (incl. large, cross-functional). Leads analysis of control deficiencies as well as expansion and refinement of documentation for more complex control deficiencies to drive actionable business impact, influences management on sufficiency of correctives actions, recommends audit rating. Implements risk based audit strategy. Exercises judgment and critical thinking to influence business partners. Identifies control trends in assigned business areas as well as impact to the business and to the Bank overall by applying deep and broad business acumen. Coaches/trains team in execution of the audit.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 experience in Audit, Business Control, Finance, Compliance, Risk or other related experience

  • Strong understanding of IT general controls and other IT controls as indicated in COBIT

  • Experience of conducting regulatory and risk oriented IT Infrastructure and application audits, SDLC reviews, continuous risk monitoring testing

  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities; Able to develop and convey a point of view

  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude. Able to thrive in a dynamic team environment

  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines. Individual with desire to learn and teach others, high energy, positive attitude

  • Creative thinker who can map out creative solutions and lead their implementation.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with dedication to superior service.

  • PC proficiency, including spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software applications

  • Unquestionable business and personal integrity and values congruent with those of the organization.

  • Able to travel as needed

  • Bachelor’s degree

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of AIX, Linux UNIX, Windows, Win2K Server, Oracle DBMS, SQL, Active Directory

  • CAAT application development and Experience with Data Analysis Tools (Tableau, SAS)

  • CISA Certification

  • Experience with Data Analysis Tools (Tableau, SAS)
